Dealing with hip tendonitis! Ugh!

Hi Nailene Fans!
So... I'm totally talking off topic today but I was recently diagnosed with hip tendonitis and now have to go and do physical therapy twice a week for a month. So, I wanted to tell you my experience! LOL Anyway, I had my first physical therapy session this morning and the therapist (who is amazing by the way!) told me to walk in a straight line. Anyway, just from observing my gait, she realized that my left foot was slightly turned and with further examination of my feet, noted that my left foot had a flatter arch than my right foot. This of course affects my overall alignment and so now she is telling me I need to purchase orthotics before I start back with my running routine. In fact, after this 5K run that I'm running this weekend, I have to put a hiatus to my running and go swimming instead. This is such an adjustment for a "runner" like me!! I wonder how long I have to forego running before I can run regularly again??? I mean, swimming as a substitute? I don't know about you but if you are a runner, it is not the same!

OK... so that's the latest goings on in my own personal life. Mother-Daughter Relationship is Real

Hi Nailene Fans! Well... Melissa Rivers was fired last night on Celebrity Apprentice, but I stand by my last entry that Joan and Melissa have a wonderful mother-daughter relationship. When Melissa got fired, mom Joan walked out too! Which goes to show, for the Rivers women, blood is definitely thicker than business, and being crowned winner of "Celebrity Apprentice." I have such a whole new respect for Joan Rivers. She stands by her daughter, and whether it can be argued that Melissa acted unprofessionally or childish on her way out, Joan still stuck by her child. We love Joan for this!!
